Objectives of members
Member organisations/institutions should contribute to the mission of the Association being: to improve the characterisation and diagnosis of brain involvement in Dystrophinopathies, as well as the treatment options for these comorbidities. They are committed to positively promote research, optimal care, knowledge, and education regarding brain involvement in Dystrophinopathies, Duchenne and/or Becker Muscular Dystrophy (DMD/BMD).
Membership Fee
The height of the membership fee is based on size of the institution and type of organisation.
• Institution with more than 3 people involved in BIND activities – annual membership fee of €1,000
• Institution with 3 or less people involved in BIND activities – annual membership fee €500
• Patient Organisations – annual membership fee €250
Business form
The organisation should have a not-for-profit legal constitution.
Statement of Activities
Each participating organisation will produce an annual summary of its activities
and engagement in line with the objectives. A template will be provided.
